"Our best wishes for you and those you love, may the Spirit of Christmas remain with you always.”

Holiday Greetings from The Lodges

Hello Everyone

We sincerely hope you have had a year full of joy and laughter, full of memories and blessings.

As many of you know our greatest gift this year was our wedding day 07/07/07 at 7:00 pm. Family and friends were there to share our special time, as well we received wonderful greetings from those that were not able to attend, ‘thank you’ to everyone.. The family wedding photo at the top right includes, Missy, our hairy family member otherwise known as a dog, although she doesn’t seem to think so. Missy was not present at the time the photo was taken, for obvious reasons but we couldn’t leave her out so we did a little creative addition. If you would like to visit our wedding site http://www.ewedding.com/v20/welcome.php/jnjlodge/ we will be taking it down in the New Year as we reach our 6 month anniversary.

We continue to be active as Disaster Management Chairs, Instructors, Peer Support Team and Council members for the Canadian Red Cross locally and are assisting to promote the Malaria nets http://www.redcross.ca/malariabites/all_about_nets.html

Then there's Jack's Blog http://wfdretirees.blogspot.com/ and our newest business venture http://digitaldesigns2dvd.blogspot.com/ we are currently renovating the Internet site of our training company, Logic Q.U.E.S.T so obviously we need a lesson on the word ‘retired’.

We do find time to thoroughly enjoy our lives together, we’re great day trippers, and although Jeannie’s heart challenge prevented some longer trips this summer we have plans for travel in the New Year, in fact we have a list, excel spreadsheet of things to do and yes its colour coded. We’ve had a great family and friends year; in addition to our wedding we celebrated Mom’s 85th with her in London and all of the grandchildren’s, Becca’s 9th, Jackson’s 8th and Emily’s 5th. Gord and Tina are doing well, it was so great to have Thanksgiving here with all the kids big and little and we’re looking forward to our plans for Christmas at their home. Social life in our little complex here on the lake is fun and relaxing, we’ve met some great new friends to add to our old friends, old not being age specific, so life is never dull.

Know that we think of you all often, near or far, we remember the memories we share with you and look forward to making more in our futures.

Have a wonderful Christmas, enjoy a happy, healthy Holiday season and New Year.

Sincerely

Jack & Jeannie Lodge
